The label ID of the Samsung SGH-T959V on the FCC&39's website. This could be the Samsung Vibrant 4G.

Mere weeks after the Consumer Electronics Show, it appears that the Motorola Atrix 4G has finally earned its seal of approval from the FCC. The model number is MB860 and yes, it does support UMTS 1900Mhz, which AT&T is calling "4G." Another 4G phone to get stamped by the FCC could be the Samsung Vibrant 4G. The Vibrant's model number is the SGH-T959, while the phone seen here has a very similar model number of SGH-T959V. On a non-4G note, it appears Huawei has also let slip its Ideos X6 on the FCC recently. Looks like there's definitely no shortage of smartphones soon, and we're looking forward to getting our hands on them once they're released.

Because the FCC has to certify every phone sold in the United States, not to mention test its SAR rating, the agency's online database offers a lot of sneak peeks to those who dig. And to save you the trouble, Crave has combed through the database for you. Here are a selection of filings from the past week on new and upcoming cell phones. Click through to read the full report.
